About Us

A native of Skibbereen in West Cork, John is the founder and Managing Director of Blueprint Financial Planning and has over 15 years’ experience of designing and implementing bespoke financial plans for individuals and families. John is highly qualified in his field and is a firm believer in constantly upskilling to add value to his clients. John is passionate about helping people achieve their financial goals and obtain their desired lifestyle.

Away from the office John is very much a family first person and loves nothing more than spending time with his wife Yvonne and children Seán and Eve exploring the sights of his native Skibbereen and the wider West Cork area.

John’s main hobbies include Sport, Music and Podcasting. He is a lover of all sports but has a particular passion for Golf, Football and Squash. A self confessed music fanatic John has a varied taste in music and has attended over 80 concerts so far, although don’t ask him

which one was the best, it’s too tough a question.

John launched his own podcast called The-Blueprint (listen here) last year chatting with people from the world of business, entrepreneurship and sport.

Having lost his Father to cancer in 2019 John wanted to raise some funds for cancer charities, as an avid golfer John had the idea of a charity golf classic which to date has raised over €35,000 for the following charities:

• Breakthrough Cancer Research
• St Vincent de Paul (Skibbereen branch)
• West Cork Down Syndrome
• Autistic Classes at St Patrick's Boys National School (Skibbereen)
